《中国邮电高校学报(英文版)》创刊于1994年。她是经中国政府主管部门批准，在国内外公开发行的学术性刊物，现为季刊。本刊内容涉及的主要学科领域为：电子学，通信即信息科学，计算机科学与工程，管理科学与工程等。由全国六所高等邮电院校共同发起并主办。六所邮电高校是：北京邮电大学(BUPT),南京邮电学院(NUPT),吉林大学(JLU),重庆邮电学院(CUPT),西安邮电学院(XIPT),及石家庄邮电职业技术学院(SPTTC)。该刊编辑部设在北京邮电大学。
该刊宗旨为：通过发表在上述各学科领域中的学术论文，研究报告和摘要，反映上述六所院校在科研和教学方面所取得的重要成果，促进国内各高等院校及国外同行之间在科学技术领域中的学术交流与合作。我们相信，本学报将成为一条有力的有力的友谊纽带，将国内外的学者们联系在一起，从而增进他们之间的相互了解，增强他们之间的学术交流。
该刊的读者范围正在逐步扩大，每年有四百余册寄往美国，英国，德国，俄罗斯，日本等国家和地区。该刊有较丰富的稿源，较强的编辑力量，并努力提高刊物的学术水平和编辑质量，使之能得到读者的欢迎。
