本刊是中国石化专业的第一份英文期刊。报道内容以中国国内信息为主,兼顾世界各地的重要科技动态,主要宣传中国石化行业的方针政策、科技研究开发的新技术、中国石化技术市场、工程建设情况,引进技术、装置、设备运转状况,中国技术在国外的应用,中国石化企业的改革发展等。
