Zygote publishes original high-quality papers short communications topical review articles and a Forum section where controversial topics are discussed. Studies on plants invertebrates lower vertebrates mammals and humans at the molecular and cellular levels are published leading to a unique multidisciplinary publication. Topics include gametogenesis sperm-egg interaction activation of gametes polarity in oocytes and zygotes cell-cycle control cleavage cell-cell interactions and the generation of early cell lineages.
